ABC 2022 Eagle Lifetime Achievement Award Winner: Bruce Lee
This year's winner is Mr. Bruce Lee of Lee Builders, Inc. The team at Lee Builders nominated Bruce, saying that "he embodies the characteristics needed to be considered for the Eagle Lifetime Achievement Award.
Michael E. Mosley (December 21, 1956 – May 31, 2019)
Mike was a great friend, mentor, craftsman, and leader. He served on the Lee Builders team as a successful project superintendent for many years. He will always be remembered by his willingness to share his knowledge and skill set with anyone. Mike’s friendship and leadership will be truly missed by all.
Apprenticeship celebration and graduation night
Congratulations- Tyler finished his 3rd year, Matt completed his 2nd year, and James finished his 1st year of carpentry apprenticeship.
Jeffry R. Lee (February 13, 1955 – May 8, 2019)
Jeff was co-founder of Lee Builders, Inc. where he served as Vice-President/Project Manager for 35 years.
Peggy Butler Retirement
Congratulation and best wishes to Peggy on her retirement. Peggy has worked at LBI since 1991. She will be missed by all.

Blueprint Reading Course
Congratulations to Matt, Mike, and Jonathan for the successful completion of the 6 week blueprint reading course.
Joe Lee Retirement
Joe Lee, General Manager retired after 13 years with LBI. He will be dearly missed by all that were fortunate enough to interact with him both professionally and personally.
Apprenticeship and training course completion
Wade completed the NCCER “Project Supervision” course at North Alabama Craft Training Foundation.
Tyler successfully finished his 2nd year of Carpentry Apprenticeship at North Alabama Training Craft Training Foundation.
Matt successfully completed his 1st year of Carpentry Apprenticeship at North Alabama Training Craft Training Foundation.

LBI WHEELCHAIR RAMP PROJECT
Lee Builders designed, negotiated special pricing on materials with City Lumber, then helped build a wheelchair ramp for a friend in need.
LBI IS AWARDED THE STEP SAFETY AWARD & the ACCREDITED QUALITY CONTRACTOR STATUS AGAIN IN 2015
These accreditation programs through the Associated Builders & Contractors publicly recognize and honor those construction firms which have documented their commitment in four key areas of corporate responsibility: 1) Safety 2) Training 3) Employee Benefits 4) Community Relations.
LBI WINS "2014 EXCELLENCE IN CONSTRUCTION" AWARDS
The HEALS project won a National EIC Award this year. There were many companies involved, but Shea Thomas from LBI was the Committee Chair, and earlier the Vice-Chair, on this project (see below). Bruce Lee, Sr. Project Manager, and Steve McWhorter, Superintendent, will accept the Institutional $10-25 Million Excellence in Construction award for Huntsville High School’s Freshman Academy at the Associated Builders & Contractors Award Banquet December 4, 2014. The Associated Builders & Contractors "Excellence in Construction" program is a nationwide program that publicly recognizes quality and innovation in the construction industry.
LBI Project Update
LBI has been awarded 2 new projects at NASA totaling $875,000 that would start within the next two months and a $1.6 Million New Family Life Center historical renovation and addition for the Central Presbyterian Church.

LBI will receive the “2009 Excellence in Construction” awards at the Associated Builders & Contractors Award Banquet Friday, November 20. The ABC "Excellence in Construction" program is a nationwide program that publicly recognizes quality and innovation in the construction industry. Bruce Lee, Sr. Project Manager, and Tony Lee, Superintendent, will accept the Award of Excellence in the Renovation - Under $4 Million Category and the “2009 General Contractor Project of the Year” Award for the Scottsboro Police Department. Sean Lee, Project Manager, and Charlie Redifer, Superintendent, will accept the Award of Excellence in the Institutional $5-10 Million Category for Buckhorn High School.

LBI received “2008 Excellence in Construction” awards at the Associated Builders & Contractors Award Banquet Friday, February 20. The ABC "Excellence in Construction" program is a nationwide program that publicly recognizes quality and innovation in the construction industry. Bruce Lee, Sr. Project Manager, Tavio Gonzalez, Project Manager, and Windle Green, Superintendent, accepted the Award of Excellence in the Renovation $10-100 Million Category for the Huntsville Madison County Jail. Sean Lee, Project Manager, and Paul Bergmann, Superintendent, accepted the Merit Award in the Renovation Less than $4 Million Category for Lexus of Huntsville.
