Calhoun Community College Automotive Training Facility
LBI has began work on the new Automotive training facility for Calhoun. We are also working on the new Dental hygiene space as well.
Sparkman High school Fine Arts Center underway
Lee Builders is hard at work on the New Sparkman High School Fine Arts Center. This will be the school system's very first fine arts center and it will include an 800-seat theater, band and choir rooms, with additional art classrooms.
Michael E. Mosley (December 21, 1956 – May 31, 2019)
Mike was a great friend, mentor, craftsman, and leader. He served on the Lee Builders team as a successful project superintendent for many years. He will always be remembered by his willingness to share his knowledge and skill set with anyone. Mike’s friendship and leadership will be truly missed by all.
Apprenticeship celebration and graduation night
Congratulations- Tyler finished his 3rd year, Matt completed his 2nd year, and James finished his 1st year of carpentry apprenticeship.
Jeffry R. Lee (February 13, 1955 – May 8, 2019)
Jeff was co-founder of Lee Builders, Inc. where he served as Vice-President/Project Manager for 35 years.
Peggy Butler Retirement
Congratulation and best wishes to Peggy on her retirement. Peggy has worked at LBI since 1991. She will be missed by all.

OSHA 10 Training Course
Congratulations to Austin, Ian, James, Jimmy, Jerry, Matt, and Tyler for successfully completing the OSHA 10 safety course they attended at ABC.
Blueprint Reading Course
Congratulations to Matt, Mike, and Jonathan for the successful completion of the 6 week blueprint reading course.
Joe Lee Retirement
Joe Lee, General Manager retired after 13 years with LBI. He will be dearly missed by all that were fortunate enough to interact with him both professionally and personally.
Apprenticeship and training course completion
Wade completed the NCCER “Project Supervision” course at North Alabama Craft Training Foundation.
Tyler successfully finished his 2nd year of Carpentry Apprenticeship at North Alabama Training Craft Training Foundation.
Matt successfully completed his 1st year of Carpentry Apprenticeship at North Alabama Training Craft Training Foundation.

LBI Participates in the MS Walk 2013
Our team, Ritalinda’s MSfits, raised over $10,000 and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis by participating in the 2013 MS Walk. To date, we have raised almost $40,000 for MS.

These accreditation programs through the Associated Builders & Contractors publicly recognize and honor those construction firms which have documented their commitment in four key areas of corporate responsibility: 1) Safety 2) Employee Benefits 3) Training 4) Community Relations.LBI Project Update
LBI has negotiated their seventh contract with St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. The $3.4M Phase II Parish Life Center has begun and is scheduled for completion in 13 months.
LBI Wins "Excellence in Construction" and "Project of the Year" Awards
LBI will receive the “2009 Excellence in Construction” awards at the Associated Builders & Contractors Award Banquet Friday, November 20. The ABC "Excellence in Construction" program is a nationwide program that publicly recognizes quality and innovation in the construction industry. Bruce Lee, Sr. Project Manager, and Tony Lee, Superintendent, will accept the Award of Excellence in the Renovation - Under $4 Million Category and the “2009 General Contractor Project of the Year” Award for the Scottsboro Police Department. Sean Lee, Project Manager, and Charlie Redifer, Superintendent, will accept the Award of Excellence in the Institutional $5-10 Million Category for Buckhorn High School.
